Done-for-you sourcing for deep-tech and SaaS teams

Your next technical hire, shortlisted and ready in your Slack. In 48 hours.

We source, score, and draft personalized outreach for every candidate. You review and approve in Slack. Nothing goes to a candidate without your say. Nothing to install or operate.

  • EU-hosted
  • AI Act ready

The sourcing problem no one talks about

Your most senior people are doing a part-time job no one named.

Hard-to-fill technical roles sit open for months. Whether you build photonics hardware or ship a SaaS product, the story is the same. Agencies send CVs you did not ask for. Your CTO, head of engineering, or head of product ends up writing Boolean searches on LinkedIn at night.

Gillnet replaces that. You share the vacancy. We run the pipeline. A ranked shortlist with drafted InMails lands in your Slack within 48 hours. Your job is twenty minutes of approvals, not forty hours of search.

How it works

The sourcing engine researches, ranks, and writes. You decide what happens next.

  1. 01

    Intake

A 30-minute conversation with your hiring manager. We learn the role, the team, and what qualified actually means. Not a form.

  2. 02

    Search

The engine runs structured searches across multiple channels, refined to your market. Multiple angles, not one keyword pass.

  3. 03

    Score

Every candidate is scored on title, skills, location, and seniority. You see why someone ranked where they did, not just a number.

  4. 04

    Draft

A personalized InMail is written for each candidate, initial message and follow-up, based on their actual profile. Not a template.

  5. 05

    Review

The shortlist and every draft arrive in your Slack. Keep, skip, or hold. You approve each message before it sends.

  6. 06

    Send

Approved InMails go out through your LinkedIn Recruiter account, under your hiring manager, CTO, or CEO. Not a faceless recruiter.

Your job: twenty minutes of decisions. Our job: everything before that.

Score: visible reasoning

You see exactly why every candidate scored what they scored.

No black box. No trust the algorithm. Every dimension is visible, and every score is defensible.

This is what arrives in your Slack every morning, for every open role, for every shortlisted candidate.

The reasoning is always shown. You know what to ask in the interview before you have spoken to anyone.

The candidate experience is the point

Why candidates actually respond.

Most sourcing tools optimize for volume. Spray a hundred messages, hope for replies. That damages your employer brand and burns InMail credits on people who will never respond. Gillnet is built the other way.

Candidates respond to a name they recognize

When a software engineer gets a message from a generic recruiter, they scan it and move on. When it comes from the CTO they would actually report to, they read it.

With your approval, outreach goes out under the name of your CEO, CTO, or hiring manager. We write the message. They approve it. The candidate sees someone worth replying to. Jonathan has seen this work across his career in technical recruitment, including at TomTom.

Respect for the candidate

Our quality gates check each message against the candidate's actual profile and the specific role, not just grammar. If a draft reads like it could go to anyone, it does not pass.

We are honest with candidates too. Every first message says plainly that AI helped find their profile and that a person reviewed and wrote it before sending. No pretending a bot is a human. Your employer brand is part of the product.

What makes this different

Four reasons a technical team trusts it.

Done for you, not done with you

Most AI sourcing products are tools you license, then learn to operate. Gillnet is a service. We run the sourcing. You review the output. The question to ask any tool: who actually uses this every day?

EU-native, human-approved

Recruitment AI is high-risk under the EU AI Act. As the deployer, you carry obligations, and Gillnet is built to make them straightforward. Genuine human oversight, logged and explainable scores, an Article 26 deployer pack for your DPO.

Precision, not volume

A gillnet, not a dragnet. The engine is configured to your role, your market, your requirements. A ranked shortlist of people who fit, with the reasoning visible. Not a pile of CVs.

Your tools, your data

Outreach goes through your own LinkedIn Recruiter account. Data stays in the EU. No black box sending from accounts you do not control. Every message and decision is visible and attributable.

What you stop paying for

One agency placement, or a whole pipeline.

What each sourcing option really costs and what you get
OptionReal costWhat you get
Recruitment agency €15,000 to 19,000 per hire One CV drop. No process visibility.
In-house sourcer €5,500 / month, 2 to 3 months to hire One person's capacity. A hard ceiling.
An AI sourcing tool A license, plus your time to run it A tool. No service.
Your CTO sourcing Your best engineer's evenings The most expensive option on the list.

One agency placement is €15,000 to 19,000. That is four to five months of Gillnet Growth, for your whole pipeline, not one hire. Fill two engineers in your first quarter and Gillnet has already paid for itself several times over.

Running in production

Live today. Built to be handed to your DPO.

Gillnet runs in production today, sourcing daily across hard-to-fill technical roles, from electronics and mechanical engineers to data, product, and platform roles. Every run is different. The same engine, configured each time for the specific market, skills, and location.

Client names are not on this page by design. Candidates end up in this pipeline, and logos here would undercut the confidentiality we promise our clients. On the intake call we show you the live system and a real completed run.

Compliance you can hand to your DPO

Most tools in this space leave the legal work to you. Gillnet ships with the paperwork. Few tools in this market have any of it.

  • Legitimate-interest assessment
  • Privacy notice
  • Processing register
  • Quarterly bias-audit process
  • Annex IV technical file
  • Article 26 deployer pack
  • Human oversight on every shortlist

Built by people, not just product

Real recruiters. Hands on every pipeline.

Jonathan Garcia has worked in technical recruitment since 2016. Over his career he has sourced and recruited across every kind of technical and engineering role, at companies including TomTom, Helin Data, and ParkBee.

He built Gillnet because the sourcing problem he kept seeing was not a lack of tools. It was a lack of a service that combined AI speed with real recruiter judgment.

Gillnet is built and run by Solvism. The recruiting judgment and the engine behind it come from the same small, hands-on team.

Every pipeline is reviewed by a person. Every InMail is approved by a person. The engine handles the scale. The humans handle the judgment.

Questions

The things technical teams ask first.

How is this different from a recruitment agency?

An agency charges 20 to 25 percent of salary. One senior engineering placement costs €15,000 to 19,000, and you see nothing until they present. Gillnet charges a flat monthly fee, runs daily, and shows you everything. You approve a ranked shortlist, not a black-box CV drop.

We already use a recruiter in-house. Does this replace them?

No. It gives them sourcing capacity they do not have to build. The engine handles the search volume. Your recruiter focuses on intake, interviews, and closing. Many clients run both.

We hire software engineers, not hardware engineers. Is this relevant?

Yes. The engine is configured per role. Software engineers, data engineers, product managers with technical backgrounds. Gillnet covers both deep-tech engineering and SaaS product roles.

Who reviews the outreach before it sends?

You do. Every InMail draft is visible in your Slack before it sends. You approve each message. Nothing reaches a candidate without your explicit approval. This is not optional.

What about GDPR?

Data stays in the EU. We process candidate data under a documented legitimate-interest assessment, with a DPIA, a privacy notice, and a processing register on file. Candidates can request access or erasure at any time, and an erasure adds them to a suppression list so they are not sourced again. Your DPO can review the full setup before you start.

Is this EU AI Act compliant?

We cannot guarantee your compliance for you, that is the deployer's responsibility. What we do is make it straightforward. Gillnet is built to the high-risk requirements: genuine human oversight, explainable and logged scoring, and a quarterly bias-audit process. You get an Article 26 deployer pack to hand to legal, and we maintain the technical file and registration as the EU portal opens.

How long until the first shortlist?

First shortlist within 48 hours for most roles. Intake is a 30-minute conversation. From there the engine runs on the next daily cycle.

What if the market is thin?

The engine adapts. It widens search angles and adjusts strategy when a market is tight, and you are told when a role has low yield so you can adjust the requirements. We do not promise volume. We promise precision on whatever is available.

Can we start with one role?

Yes. The pilot is exactly that. €2,000, one role, full pipeline. If you like what you see, the amount credits to your first subscription month.
